向世界闡揚臺灣女性的成就，協助臺灣佛教徒與世界接軌。致力提升佛學英文教育與跨
文化溝通能力，培育翻譯人才，協助台灣佛教女眾對外交流、拓展世界觀。

Sakyadhita Taiwan aims to share the progress and achievements of Taiwanese women with the rest of the world, as well as encourage a dialogue between Taiwanese Buddhists and Buddhists from different backgrounds. We are committed to improving Buddhist-English education and intercultural communication skills. As such, we seek to help cultivate translators and help Taiwanese Buddhist women find opportunities for international exchange, thereby expanding their worldviews.

提升佛學英文教育與跨文化溝通能力，培育翻譯人才，希望協助台灣佛教女眾對外交流、拓展世界觀；同時，促進教育、研究、文化、和藝術等活動與交流，幫助年輕一代學子發揮潛能，也鼓勵其他地區的佛教女眾來台交流或學習，進而饒益眾生，促進社會和諧與世界和平。

We seek to improve Buddhist-English education and intercultural communication skills, cultivate quality translators, and help Taiwanese Buddhist women find opportunities for international exchange, thereby expanding their worldviews. Concurrently, we strive to stimulate growth in education, research, culture, and the arts, thereby helping younger generations find opportunities to express their hidden talents. We also encourage Buddhist women in other areas to come learn in Taiwan and have cultural exchanges. We hope what we do can help benefit all sentient beings, foster social harmony, and promote world peace.

國際化已經成為世界潮流，如何與世界接軌，協力締造和平安康的社會，有效溝通的關鍵之一乃是外語與跨文化溝通能力。長久以來，台灣的“善女人”們一直為這個世界默默奉獻，許多女性在她們各自的領域中更是深具影響力的領導者。但是並非所有人都具備外語能力，因此在頻繁的國際活動中，雖然臺灣僧俗女眾與臺灣的佛教受到極高度重視，但受限於外語能力，他們大部份無法親自參與國際活動，為自己發聲。為了向世界闡揚臺灣女性的成就，協助臺灣佛教徒與世界接軌，本會將在學術、文化與教育的基底上，致力提升佛學英文教育與跨文化溝通能力，培育翻譯人才，希望協助台灣佛教女眾對外交流、拓展世界觀；同時，促進教育、研究、文化、和藝術等活動與交流，幫助年輕一代學子發揮潛能，也鼓勵其他地區的佛教女眾來台交流或學習，進而饒益眾生，促進社會和諧與世界和平。

As the world becomes increasingly globalized, the question of how to connect with the world whilst fostering a peaceful and healthy society arises. We believe that one of the keys to effective communication is language ability paired with cross-cultural exchange. Over the years, Taiwanese “Sakyadhitas (Daughters of the Buddha),” many who are also influential leaders in their respective fields, have quietly contributed to the world. However, not everyone has the foreign language skills necessary to share their knowledge, experience, etc. with the rest of the world. For instance, Taiwanese Buddhist nuns and laywomen play have ideas/experiences to share and contribute, but some of these women don't yet know any foreign languages, so most of them can't personally attend and/or and fully express themselves and participate at international events.

In order to share the progress and achievements of Taiwanese women with the world and encourage dialogue between Taiwanese Buddhists and Buddhists from different backgrounds, our organization will build upon a foundation of scholarship, culture, and education in our efforts to work towards improving Buddhist-English education and intercultural communication skills; cultivate quality translators; and help Taiwanese Buddhist women have opportunities for international exchange, thereby expanding their worldviews. Concurrently, we strive to stimulate growth in education, research, culture, and the arts thereby helping younger generations find opportunities to express their hidden talents, as well as encourage Buddhist women in other areas to come learn in Taiwan and have cultural exchanges. We hope this can help benefit all sentient beings, foster social harmony, and promote world peace.
